Our technicians repair refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, cooktops and microwaves in homes across Amherst (ZIP code 24521). We also serve nearby communities including Monroe, Madison Heights and Lynchburg, so help is close wherever you are in the area.
Virginia gets both hot, humid summers and cold winters, so appliances work hard all year. Refrigerators and freezers run longer in July and August, while winter brings frozen water lines in unheated spaces and heavier use of dryers, ovens and ranges. Those seasonal swings shape many of the repairs we make in Amherst.
Common appliance repairs in Amherst:
- Refrigerators and freezers that stop cooling, leak water or have a broken ice maker
- Washing machines that won't drain, spin or start
- Dryers that don't heat or take too long to dry
- Dishwashers that leave dishes dirty or water in the bottom
- Ovens, ranges and cooktops with no heat or burners that won't light
- Microwaves, garbage disposals and range hoods
